Read this before you pay. There is nothing to sign. Paying for the kit means you accept these terms, and they become the agreement between us.
Section 1 is the part that decides whether this is right for you. If anything in it doesn't fit, email [email protected] before you buy rather than after.
The kit runs on your own computer, on your own AI subscription. Four things have to be true or it will not work, and none of them are things we can supply for you.
The kit runs on both. Where a setup step differs between them, the instructions give both versions. It hasn't been written or tested for Linux.
The free plan doesn't include the part the kit uses. You pay Anthropic directly, we never see it, and it's the ongoing running cost of the whole system. It's separate from, and on top of, the price of the kit.
Git is a small free background tool. You'll never open it or look at it. Claude needs it to work on files on your own computer, and your Chief of Staff uses it to keep a private history of your system, which is what lets any file be put back the way it was last Tuesday.
Installing it takes a few minutes and the instructions in the kit walk you through it step by step on both Mac and Windows. Worth knowing before you pay rather than after: it's the one part of setup nobody can do for you remotely, because it's a dialog someone has to click at your own keyboard, and it's the single most common place people get stuck. If that's not a few minutes you want to spend, the guided build and the Melbourne day both do the setup with you.
Python is a second small free background tool, and like Git you'll never open it. Your Chief of Staff uses it constantly in the background: numbering your tasks, taking the snapshots that let a file be restored, and recording which business this copy is licensed to.
On a Mac it arrives with the Git install above, so there's nothing extra to do. On Windows it's a separate download that takes about two minutes, and the instructions in the kit walk you through it. It's worth naming here rather than leaving you to meet it after you've paid.
Starter-OS v1.8: the operating brief, the memory scaffold, the skills, playbooks, templates and configuration files, plus the written instructions for setting it up and running it day to day. It's delivered to the email address you pay from, stamped with your business name and a unique purchase reference. Delivery is normally immediate and always within one business day.
What you don't get is any of Arek Rainczuk's time. No sessions, no setup call, no screen share, no review of what you've built. Those are the guided build and the Melbourne day, and they're priced separately.
The price shown at checkout, in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST. A tax invoice is issued to the email address you pay from. Any promotional price is available only for the period stated where it's offered.
There is no signature and no separate contract. By completing payment you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
The licence is granted to the business you name at checkout. If you do not name a business, it is granted to you personally. The licence covers one business. It does not extend to a parent, subsidiary, related company, franchisee or joint venture partner unless we license those separately in writing.
Subject to your compliance with these terms, Five Castles Pty Ltd grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use the kit for the internal business operations of the licensed business only.
No ownership passes to you. Five Castles Pty Ltd retains all right, title and interest in the kit, its materials, and the underlying methods, structures, prompt design and know-how, including all intellectual property rights.
Use it in full to run your own business. Change it, extend it, add your own skills and playbooks, and make it fit the way you work. Nothing in this licence limits how you use it day to day inside your own business.
You must not, and must not permit anyone else to:
The way the kit is built, its prompts, its structure and its playbooks are not public knowledge. You must keep them confidential and must not disclose them to anyone other than your own employees or contractors who need access to operate the kit for your business, and who are bound by confidentiality obligations at least as protective as this one.
This doesn't apply to information that is or becomes public through no fault of yours, that you can show you developed independently without reference to the kit, or that you're required to disclose by law, provided you give us reasonable notice first where you're lawfully able to.
This obligation continues after the licence ends.
Your data, your records, your brand content, your tracker entries, memory notes, logs and client-specific operating content belong to you, and nothing here transfers any of it to us. Anything you build on top of the kit for your own business is yours.
The shipped templates, structure, setup process, generic skills and underlying methods remain part of the licensed kit, including once you have customised them. A customised copy doesn't become a product you can redistribute. Third-party components stay under their own licences, listed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md inside the kit.
What's included: a working download. If the file is broken, corrupt or won't open, email us and we'll replace it.
What isn't included: setup help, troubleshooting, answering questions about how to use it, screen shares, or reviewing what you've built. This is the self-paced product. The written instructions are the support, including the Git steps in section 1, which is the one place people commonly get stuck and where everything you need is already written out.
We're spelling this out because "no support" is easy to write and easy to misread. If you email a setup question, the honest answer will be a pointer back to the instructions or an invitation to book a build. Better that you know that now than feel misled later.
If you buy the kit and then decide you want the guided 1:1 build or a seat at the Melbourne day, the full price you paid for the kit comes off the price of that booking, provided you book within 30 days of buying the kit. It comes off the price rather than being refunded to you, and it can be used once.
Your consumer guarantees can't be excluded, and nothing here tries to. Under the Australian Consumer Law you are entitled to a remedy if the kit isn't as described, isn't of acceptable quality, or isn't fit for a purpose we've told you it's fit for. Those rights apply whether you buy as an individual or as a business, and nothing in these terms limits or removes them.
Change of mind isn't covered. The kit is confidential material delivered in full on purchase, so it can't be handed back once you have it. That's why section 1 is written the way it is: everything you need in order to decide sits above the checkout button. If you're unsure whether it suits you, email before you pay.
You receive the version current at the date of your purchase. We may improve the kit over time. Later versions aren't automatically included, and we'll say plainly at the time if an update is offered to existing licensees.
We may end this licence by written notice if you breach sections 5 or 6 and, where the breach can be fixed, you don't fix it within 14 days of us telling you. If that happens you must stop using the kit and, if we ask, delete all copies in your possession or control. Sections 5 (restrictions), 6, 7 and 13 continue to apply after it ends.
You acknowledge that a breach of section 5 or 6 may cause harm that damages alone can't adequately remedy, and that we may seek injunctive relief in addition to any other remedy available at law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
